CONVERSE- KISSING WITH ROSS
With the help of crazy talented media planners, we figured out how to use the google search ads to generate web traffic for pennies. This allowed us to bring viewers into a Converse web-ring full of content that is specifically produced for popular search terms.
Kissing with Ross was run against the search term “how to kiss” that was very popular during back to school months. In the paid search ads that run along the side of a google search page, an all text ad would read “learn how to kiss.”
Users click and get brought to the web-ring. This site generated Converse.com’s highest ever web traffic/ internet sales, and to date has around a half million views. Kissing with ross was picked up by major blogs and featured on VH1’s Best Week Ever blog, where the editor spoofed the video and “threw the gauntlet.”
